We are a vibrant community of Sourashtra families residing in Singapore, dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich cultural and spiritual heritage. Our recent event, the Sri Srinivasa Perumal Padmavathy Thirukalayanam, was a grand celebration of divine love and union. 

Event Highlights:

• Morning Prayers: Our day began with a soulful journey through Subrapatham, Thomalai Seva, Poomalai Seva, and Thirumanjanam, as we offered our prayers and devotion to Sri Srinivasa Perumal and Padmavathy. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual fervor and reverence as our community came together to start the day on a divine note.

• Morning Annadhanam Breakfast: Following the prayers, a delightful Annadhanam breakfast, where the flavors of tradition and the warmth of community blended harmoniously. It was a time of fellowship and nourishment, both for the body and the soul.

• Evening Thirukalayanam: As the day progressed, we gathered once again to witness the celestial union of Sri Srinivasa Perumal and Padmavathy in the sacred ceremony of Thirukalayanam. The air was charged with devotion and joy as we celebrated the divine love between the divine couple.

• Swami Purappadhu: The evening concluded with Swami Purappadhu, a ritualistic procession that honored Sri Srinivasa Perumal and Padmavathy. Amidst music, prayers, and heartfelt devotion, we escorted the divine couple, marking the end of a day filled with spiritual bliss and communal harmony.

• Kalayana Saapaddu: Following the ceremony, we had sumptuous Kalayana Saapaddu, experiencing the divine through the flavors of traditional cuisine.
